About
Hi I’m Rachel, the face behind Neat Sites!
Based in Yorkshire, I made it my mission to help get small businesses an online home. I have been in the tech space for over 10 years, with a degree in Computing, and many years of working in various roles in the tech sector with my passion always being in business branding, personal branding.
I have always started creative ventures, and business ideas, but once the branding, socials and website was done I was always like ok what’s the next one… when I realised I just loved to build online homes for brands and that was my speciality.
When personally searching for local businesses I'd often come across barron socials, or no websites, and be left unsure if the business was still going, and this can be frustrating for an end user and potential customer, missing out on great quality work, and the business missing out on customers.
The mix of the pain of seeing great businesses not online, and a love for branding and building, I made it my mission to help small businesses get websites and social media accounts up online.

I use squarespace which has a great user interface, meaning it’s easy for clients to pick up and manage and even edit bits of their website once it has all been built.
Everything is in one place and, it’s mobile responsive
It keeps costs low, so you don’t have to pay loads of money for a site built from scratch, I won’t be spending my time coding it so you don’t have to pay for those hours. This is why hiring me is perfect for small businesses who may be on a budget.
Free SSL certifications, this means you will have a safe connection to your website and so will your customers.
Easy to understand pricing, Squarespace let’s you pay monthly or yearly, meaning all your costs are in those payments without any hidden costs.

Hosting is paid from you directly to squarespace for your website to go live, you can chose annual or monthly payments.
For domain, if you buy a domain alongside your hosting you will pay this to squarespace, however if you already have a domain you will pay your domain registrar directly.

Payment is made in 3 instalments: 20% is due to confirm your project, when the contract is signed, the following 40% is due at the start of the project with the final 40% due before final handover at project completion.

If you have no branding for your business yet, I am able to pull together a style palette, for us to use throughout your website. This includes:

Please note, this branding upgrade will cost an additional £250 and will add a week to your project. You will receive a font and colour name so you can use them in your business.

Absolutely! When final payment is made, along with handover of your project I include a personalised walk through of the backend of your website to show you how to use the basic functions to keep your website up to date!

Depending on your package, from your start date it will take around 4 weeks to completion. Before we start I will send you your welcome and onboarding documents and also your homework to gather text, images, logo/branding information, so that when your date starts, we’re ready to get started straight away!

All websites require a cookie and privacy policy. Including terms of use page for website users and if you have an online shop, conditions and shipping policies are also advisable. Because these are legal documents I am unable to provide these for you but I will share a Legal Pages guide with you that includes a list of requirements.
